At Pridelines, we believe in the power of mental health support to uplift and strengthen our community. That’s why we are excited to welcome Cesar, a bilingual Mental Health Counselor in training, who will be joining us as he completes his master’s degree at Barry University in the summer of 2025.

A Passion for Mental Health and Social Justice
Originally from Peru, Cesar moved to Miami four years ago, bringing with him a deep passion for social psychology and youth counseling. His experience includes working with young people in counseling and mentorship roles, as well as contributing to research projects on adolescence with UNICEF. Cesar is dedicated to understanding human development and promoting mental well-being through a social justice lens, ensuring that care is both affirming and accessible to those who need it most.

As a Mental Health Counselor in training, Cesar will be an essential part of Pridelines' growing mental health services, helping provide safe, supportive, and inclusive spaces for those seeking guidance and care. His bilingual skills and culturally competent approach make him a valuable resource for our diverse community.

When he’s not working or studying, Cesar enjoys CrossFit and running along the beach. A proud Peruvian, he also loves cooking Peruvian dishes, with Ají de Gallina being his specialty!
