Walking for a Cause: Recap of the Florida AIDS Walk

This March we were thrilled to return to the Florida AIDS Walk for the 5th year, and walk alongside our community partners Yaya Por Vida, Decrim305, F***Fentanyl, Crunch Gym, and the GSA's.

The Florida AIDS Walk, organized by AHF, took place in Fort Lauderdale Beach and was a tremendous success. It was hot under the sizzle sun, and the energy was vibrant as participants came together to walk for a great cause.

After the walk, attendees were treated to a concert with electrifying live performances, including Eric Benet's soulful renditions of classics like "Lovely Day" by Bill Withers and Prince's "I Wanna Be Your Lover." Todrick also graced the stage with his hit song "Nails, Hair, Hips, Heels," captivating the crowd with his dynamic performance and fierce outfits.

Even though the walk is over, we're still fundraising. As beneficiaries of the AIDS Walk, Pridelines continues to fundraise until April 30th. Every dollar raised is matched by AHF and directly supports our essential work in prevention, testing, and education within the community.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who joined us for this meaningful event, to AHF for hosting us, and to all the organizations that participated, including Broward House, Latino Salud, The McKenzie Project, The Pride Center, SAFE Schools, SAVE LGBT, Sun Serve, Transinclusive Group, Equality Florida, AQUA Foundation, World AIDS Museum and Afro Pride. Together, we are making a difference in the fight against HIV/AIDS and promoting health and wellness for all.

Let's continue walking, advocating, and standing in solidarity until we achieve our goal of an AIDS-free future.
