Youth Enrichment Activities (YEA!) are safe, social activities such as dances, artistic workshops, educational sessions, and much more that encourage youth leadership development and self-expression. Activities are scheduled throughout the year – so check our calendar for dates or contact via email at info@pridelines.org or (305) 571-9601 for more information.
CampOUT is a comprehensive three-day leadership development and social justice program for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer/questioning (LGBTQ) and allied youth (ages 13-20). It provides LGBTQ youth with the opportunity, time and structure to develop and build leadership skills while also enjoying access to a wide range of “camp” and nature activities not readily available to them.
At CampOUT youth participate in and/or lead workshops and skills-building activities focused on bullying and school safety, activism, gender identity development, leadership, civic engagement, safer sex, community organizing, media literacy, storytelling, and other social justice topics. There are also opportunities for youth, ages 21-24, to gain leadership experience as Junior Camp Counselors.
CampOUT also offers a myriad of activities, including swimming, nature hikes, archery, canoeing, campfire circles, dances, interactive games and some amazing food. Most importantly, CampOUT will allow youth to build community, be themselves, and have a tremendous amount of fun.
